Russia’s ALROSA sells diamonds for $405 mln in April

MOSCOW, May 10 (PRIME) -- Russian diamond mining giant ALROSA sold U.S. $405.3 million worth of diamonds in April, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

Uncut diamond sales amounted to $396.2 million and polished diamond sales to $9.1 million.

In January–April, ALROSA’s diamond sales amounted to $2.011 billion. Uncut diamond sales stood at $1.978 billion and polished diamond ones $32.9 million.
